Traffic in Los Angeles at 1:30PM on a random Wednesday is astounding. I can’t believe how much worse the traffic has gotten since I lived here 3 years ago. It’s a damn parking lot!!!
Not that it isn’t always bad on the 405 but you might have also been affected by people at the Lakers parade.

Though they weren’t the typical big bads battling Buffy, I think you could argue they inflicted the most damage on the Scoobies as anyone; killing Tara and driving Willow to kill in revenge for example.
SUMMER TRENDS - NU BUCKS
Don’t worry boys, your drivers and boat shoes are still in from last summer, but if you’re looking to up your style game, this year you’ll be wearing Nu Bucks.
No, this is not the Southern Comfort going to my head. And I won’t be telling you to wear pleated khakis to go with them (yikes). Think of a nu buck as a more casual wingtip that goes with everything.

When I worked on Michigan Ave. in Chicago and I needed to dress up every day, I bought a pair of nu bucks for the summer. They were a great pair of shoes and if you kept them clean, you could dress them up with some linen slacks or put them on with jeans for a casual evening out.
Other folks wore them with shorts but I was never quite that brave.
The view from the top of The Standard. The flash on this photo kind of destroyed the view, but trust me when I say that you’re not missing much. Downtown LA is not exactly what I’d call aestheticaly impressive.

Couldn’t agree more but if you start focusing on who is getting the sweet jobs and their failings, you tend to miss other opportunities that might open up.
Though of course this doesn’t help the immediate reaction when you hear the news because yeah, that just sucks.
